“Wherever you are now is exactly where you need to be.”

Whether you are on the top or the bottom. In guard or in someone’s guard. You can always get where you need to go by using your resources and thinking through a situation. Use your brain for a minute before reacting and this will enable you to be the fighter who wins the takedown in a match. You can get a tap from any opponent of any size as long as you use your brain before using your brawn. Your muscles will drain before your heart will.

Allow yourself to make mistakes for these will make you stronger. In the end you will come out a better fighter no matter how your journey begins.
