Hell in High Heels

You only see the beauty, never the pain

Thunderclaps : Rough poem

Thunderclaps in the distance

That’s what it sounds like when a heart breaks

That’s the sound I heard for days on end when I looked at you

Sitting there with her smiling

Telling me it would all work out and be okay

All I could wonder was where you got this info from

Passion — 2016/04/21

If a person loves something they should do it with all their hearts. When they realize their passion is wild for that thing, they shouldn’t try to drag their attention apart from that object. Take for instance, someone who is crazy about racecars. They shouldn’t try to impose their excitement about racing on their family or anyone else. Instead, they can wildly pursue their passion without the hindrance of someone else. As Spock used to say, It’s only logical.

A journey that could have been — 2016/04/20

A journey that could have been

A silvery white gown, sequins studding the top and gloves she was wearing. A brilliant necklace of an infinity symbol(to signify the eternal significance of their love) was around her neck. On her feet she wore quaint gold slippers, property of her mother, her “something borrowed”. The gown is trimmed in a light blue, the color of the sky on a clear beautiful day (her something blue). On her hands she wore glove trimmed in gold. All the gold, a signature of the life they planned to have together. That of riches and glory, straight royalty.

When she walks in, she has a bouquet of white lilies and roses sprayed gold. The petals she glides on are gold and white as well. All eyes are on her in rapt attention for she was a work of the god’s artistry. As I think of this, I realize this woman could have been me. I could have had a prince so enthralled with me that he couldn’t take his eyes off me. But that dream has been swayed by the darkest of times.

Keep your chin up child, otherwise your crown falls. Wipe your tears child, lest your mascara runs. Free your feet of the shackles and dance. For you are free.

Write the truest sentence you know…

He loved her and she knew it was all she’d need to get through anything life could throw at them. They hadn’t been together long, and they had many fights. But they were together when it mattered. They weathered life’s storms together. They knew their love was real and would stand the test of time. Her fear. His Illness. Her doubt. Were nothing compared to the mutual adoration shared between those two.

Theirs was the type of love that pulled others into its web. It made you want to live bigger. To forget your doubts, debts, and fears. Theirs was a new, yet old love. The love written of in the story books. Where the prince rescues the princess; though in this case he insisted she had rescued him. Imagine that, a prince locked in a castle as the princess comes to save him. A gender roles switch to be sure. But that is how he sees their relationship as she has saved him from a life of misery.

This is the type of love we all seek. It is what the world needs to continue its venture around the sun.

For love is necessary
